This page explains how to delete your data from InfoHelm products. Because different products store data in different ways, the deletion process depends on which product you use.
In-app deletion: Where the app provides a “Delete account” or “Clear history” option, you can use it directly from within the App settings.
Uninstall: Removing the App from your device will delete locally cached content. Some data may persist on backend services for a short period before being deleted automatically.
Email request: If you cannot delete data from within the App, or if you want us to delete all associated server-side data, send a request to info@infohelm.org with the subject line “Data deletion” and include:
We will process your request within 30 days.
Desktop apps store all working data locally on your computer — we do not have a copy. To delete this data, use your operating system to remove it.
Each app provides options to clear individual items (notes, archives, history, invoices, presets, etc.). Use these options to remove data selectively without uninstalling.
To remove all local app data:
If the app does not provide an “Open data folder” option, the default locations are:
~/Library/Application Support/<AppName>%APPDATA%\<AppName>If you want to free a license activation slot (for example before reinstalling on another computer), use License → Disable on this device inside the app before uninstalling. This contacts the licensing service to release the activation.
/Applications to the Trash. After local deletion and uninstall, the only data that may remain on our side is your license/purchase record (email, license key, purchase date, activation history). This is kept for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes as required by applicable law. To request deletion of this record, email info@infohelm.org.
AI Senate uses your own existing accounts at the AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek). Conversations you have through AI Senate are stored in those providers’ own chat histories under your accounts.
To delete those conversations, log into each provider’s web interface and use their own data-deletion options. InfoHelm has no access to those records and cannot delete them on your behalf.
The Website (infohelm.org) and the InfoHelm Tech portal (tech.infohelm.org) do not require accounts to read. Standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes, then deleted or anonymized.
If you have submitted a contact form or sent us an email, you can request deletion of that correspondence by emailing info@infohelm.org.
For any question about data deletion or your rights under GDPR or similar laws, contact us at info@infohelm.org. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in any case, within the time limits required by applicable law.
